Subjects Taught
US History, US History Honors

I graduated from Findlay High School in Findlay, Ohio, in 1999.  I went on to attend Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and received a bachelors degree in Social Science Education in 2003 and then a Masters of Education in 2004.

I have spent my entire teaching career here in Colleton County Schools, though that is not to say I haven't moved a bit.  I began teaching 7th grade World History in 2005 at Colleton Middle School (Go, Bulldogs!).  I was transferred to Forest Circle Middle halfway through the 2009-2010 school year and began teaching 8th grade SC History (Go, Falcons!).  For the 2011-2012 school year, the middle schools combined and I joined the new staff of Colleton County Middle School but continued to teach 8th grade SC History (Go, Junior Cougars!).  For the 2013-2014 school year I was transferred to Colleton County High School (Go, Cougars!) where I teach CP and Honors United States History.

I live here in Walterboro with my amazing wife, Tiffany, and our three beautiful kids, Willis, Gracie, and Keegan.  I have always wanted to be a teacher and I couldn't imagine a more wonderful and fulfilling career.  I enjoy reading, playing with my kids, going to the beach, and just plain chilling out.

I am from the great town of Findlay, Ohio, where I grew up the oldest of three boys.  My middle brother, TJ, is also a teacher and the only one left in Ohio.  The rest of my family took a cue from me and moved to warmer weather.  Youngest brother Anthony is in the US Army and stationed in Tacoma Washington, at Fort Lewis.  My special parents, Tim and Nancy, just relocated to the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

I can't wait to have you in my class this year.
